Jadore Tong was born in 1970 in Weimar and grew up in Paris and Berlin. His first graffiti art was made in 1987 in the streets of Berlin as well as on canvas. His artworks connect painting with street art techniques. Sometimes he realizes his ideas in a bold and minimalistic way and sometimes in a more impressionistic and dreamy way. Working under the pseudonym Syrus (Save Your Rich Untouchable Soul 2003), spontaneous projects like limited shirt designs, sculptures and installations emerge. He is always looking for a challenge and his works range from collages on canvas to tape art installations and 3D art objects to mural artworks in Berlin’s Kreuzberg district.
